The Bruner Reunion was started in 1901 by the children of Peter and Barbary Bruner. Since that time there have been only two years when the reunion was not held. Over the years the reunions have grown from simple afternoons with family and good food to daylong occasions including a golf tournament. This year, for the centennial reunion, we plan to extend the traditional one-day reunion to a three day weekend. The reunion is scheduled to start on Friday afternoon at Tom & Shirley Bruner's with a campfire and cookout. Saturday will be the golf outing for the golfers with swimming, food and other activities for everyone else. Sunday will bring a morning church service, more food, the business meeting and more activities. To help defray the cost of the reunion we are having several fundraisers including a raffle for valuable Bruner keepsakes, selling commemorative coins, chicken barbeques, and of course we will just accept money. Please contact one of the committee members or your family's point of contact if you have questions or comments or can assist with any of the activities planned for the reunion. Hope you to see you all there!
